USGS 05362000 JUMP RIVER AT SHELDON, WI

LOCATION.--Lat 45°18'29", long 90°57'23", in sec.26, T.33 N., R.5 W., Rusk County, Hydrologic Unit 07050004, on right bank just downstream from highway bridge in Sheldon, 1,500 ft upstream from Shoulder Creek and 11 mi upstream from mouth.

DRAINAGE AREA.--576 square miles.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--July 1915 to present.

REVISED RECORDS.--WSP 975: 1938. WSP 1438: 1916-17(M), 1919(M), 1920, 1921(M), 1922, 1923-26(M), 1927, 1928-31(M), 1932, 1933-37(M), 1945-46(M), 1948-50(M). WDR WI-81-1: Drainage area.

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 1,092.71 ft above NAVD88. Prior to Feb. 9, 1939, and Sept. 1, 1941, to Apr. 1, 1953, Feb. 18, 1954, to Sept. 27, 1964, nonrecording gage at same site and datum. Apr. 2, 1953, to Feb. 18, 1954, nonrecording gage in creamery wellhouse 400 ft upstream at same datum. Feb. 9, 1939, to Aug. 31, 1941, and from Sept. 27, 1964, water-stage recorder at present site and datum.

REMARKS.--Gage-height telemeter at station.
