During the winter, river stage may be significantly affected by backwater from ice, resulting in incorrect discharge data. Consequently, discharge data may not be displayed during periods of ice effect.

LOCATION.--Lat 44°48'34.7", long 91°30'10.1", sec.20, T.27 N., R.9 W., Eau Claire County, Hydrologic Unit 07050005, 0.1 mi downstream from confluence with the Eau Claire River.

DRAINAGE AREA.--6,590 square miles.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--March 2016 to present.

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 755.02 ft NAVD88.

REMARKS.--Regulation by several upstream dams. Gage-height telemeter at station.
