LOCATION.--Lat 46° 07'55", long 115° 56'58"(Rev.)(NAD83), in SE1/4 SE1/4 NW1/4 NW1/4 sec.10, T.32 N., R.4 E., Idaho County, Kooskia quad., Hydrologic Unit 17060304, on left bank at upstream side of bridge, 0.1 mi upstream from mouth, 2 mi above the South Fork Clearwater River, and 2 mi east of Kooskia.

DRAINAGE AREA.--102 mi2.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--March to November 1962, January to August 1968, July 1971 to September 1972 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 1,150 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to July 9, 1971, recording gage was 75 ft downstream at different datum.

REMARKS.--Backwater from check dam July 14 to Nov. 4, 1962.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 760 ft3/s Mar. 18, 1972, gage height, 7.82 ft; minimum discharge, 10 ft3/s Nov. 11, 1971; minimum gage height, 3.78 ft Sept. 26, 1962, datum then in use.
