- For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
- For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
- Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

LOCATION - Lat 32°26'56", long 85°53'51" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Macon County, AL, Hydrologic Unit 03150110, at bridge on State Highway 229, 4.4 mi downstream of Uphapee Creek, 9.9 mi downstream of Thurlow Dam, at Milstead, and at river mile 39.8.
DRAINAGE AREA - 3,771 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1971 to September 1977, October 1980 to September 1983, October 1997 to current year (gage heights only). Daily discharges are published for water years 1898-1902. Data from May 1902 to December 1971 in files of National Weather Service.

Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 153.99 ft above NAVD of 1988, (Reference Frame NAD_83 (2011) (EPOCH:2010.0000)GEOID18).
Prior to Apirl 06, 2023 the datum of gage was 153.84 ft above NGVD of 1929.
REMARKS - Record considered good. Daily gage height is affected by operation of hydroelectric plants at Thurlow, Yates, and Martin Dams.
