LOCATION - Lat 28°04'45", long 80°37'47" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 sec.04, T.28 S., R.37 E., Brevard County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03080202, in the center of the channel on the downstream side of wooden foot-bridge, approximately 125 ft upstream of U.S. Highway 192, 1.5 mi west of the City Hall in Melbourne, Brevard County, and 2.5 mi upstream from Indian River.
DRAINAGE AREA - 12.6 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR FL-05-1: 2004, 2004 (M).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 1951 to June 1968, February 2003 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and data-collection platform. Datum of gage is at NGVD of 1929 and 1.40 ft below NAVD of 1988. April 1951 to June 1968 water-stage recorder near present site at datum 4.46 ft higher.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the St. Johns River Water Management District.
