LOCATION - Lat 38°06'55", long 83°32'36" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Bath County, KY, Hydrologic Unit 05100101, on left bank, 0.2 miles downstream from Hog Hollow, 0.8 miles downstream from Cave Run Dam, 1.9 miles south of Farmers, 3.6 miles upstream from the auxiliary gage, 4.5 miles upstream from Triplett Creek, and at mile 174.
DRAINAGE AREA - 827 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1928 to September 1931, April 1938 to September 1994, and October 2002 to current year. (continuous stage and low water measurements).
GAGE - Water stage recorder.  Datum of Gage 646.55 feet above NGVD29.
COOPERATION - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District.
REMARKS - Flow regulated by Cave Run Dam. Backwater may occur when Triplett Creek, which is 4.5 miles downstream, is high.
