LOCATION - Lat 44°31'28", long 89°20'16" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.30, T.24 N., R.10 E., Portage County, WI, Hydrologic Unit 04030202,
DRAINAGE AREA - 40 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1993 to September 1995, June 2014 to current.
GAGE - Pressure transducer and CR-1000 data-logger. All equipment is housed in a 4 foot x 3 foot aluminum shelter located on the right bank 10 feet upstream of the culvert entrance. A post type crest gage is located on the right bank, 2 feet upstream of the orifice. RP-1, which is a 1 inch rebar near the orifice tip, is the primary outside reference. Raven modem is used for telemetry.
REMARKS - Records are considered good except for estimated discharges which are poor and other periods as noted. For records status prior to October 1, 2013, see remarks printed in annual water-data reports.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Specific Conductance--June 12, 2014 to September 30, 2017. Water Temperature--June 12, 2014 to September 30, 2017. Nitrate--September 08, 2014 to September 30, 2017.
INSTRUMENTATION - (Discontinued September 30, 2017) A Satlantic SUNA V-2 nitrate probe and an Aquatroll specific conductance/temp probe is connected to a CR-1000 data-logger. All equipment is housed in a 4 foot x 3 foot aluminum shelter located on the right bank 10 feet upstream of the culvert entrance.
