07179785 NORTH FORK COTTONWOOD RIVER NEAR DURHAM, KS
LOCATION - Lat 38°29'47.95", long 97°15'40.19" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.12, T.18 S., R.1 E., Marion County, KS, Hydrologic Unit 11070202, on upstream side of Falcon Road bridge 2.2 miles west, northwest of Durham, KS.
DRAINAGE AREA - 103 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - QM 57 was made during a small rain event and due to the location of the measurement, inflow to the system was measured that was not representative of the flow going over the control at the gage at the time. The measurement was taken at the downstream bridge after a rain event and a tributary runs into river between the control and the measurement location. 

Due to the reasons outlined above QM 57 is to be unpublished and corresponding shift removed. 
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
GAGE - Datum of gage is 1353.74 ft. above msl. (NAVD88) Established Mar. 6, 2017 using Trimble R10.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of July 4, 2019 reached a stage of 35.72 ft. with a computed discharge of 5700 cfs.
