LOCATION - Lat 34°32'29", long 97°14'49" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 sec.19, T.1 N., R.1 E., Garvin County, OK, Hydrologic Unit 11130303, on downstream left bank at bridge on State Highway 19A, 1.0 mi north of Hoover, 1.8 mi downstream from Sandy Creek and at mile 7.9.
DRAINAGE AREA - 600 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Occasional low-flow measurements, water years 1944, 1951-69, October 1969 to September 1993, July 2000 to June 2002 (discontinued).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 798.468 ft above NAVD of 1988 determined by GNSS Level II Survey using Alltera network with RTK Trimble R-12i tied to RM-7 by USGS Personnel on 2/23/2023. Previous datum of gage is 798.3 ft above NGVD of 1929. Prior to July 1, 2000, datum 5.0 ft higher.
REMARKS -

10/01/2022 - 09/30/2023: records poor.

Quality of data for other periods can be obtained by contacting the Oklahoma-Texas Water Science Center. Flow regulated by Duncan Lake, Clear Creek Lake, Humphries Lake, and Fuqua Lake, combined surface-area, 3,340 acres, and capacity, 44.800 acre-ft, and numerous flood-retarding structures. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' satellite telemeter at station.
