LOCATION - Lat 37°17'29", long 118°57'23" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Fresno County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18040006, unsurveyed, on right bank, 1.3 mi upstream of Hooper Creek, and 1.9 mi downstream of Florence Lake.
DRAINAGE AREA - 175 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2009 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 7,210 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
COOPERATION - Records were collected by Southern California Edison Co., under general supervision of the U. S. Geological Survey, in connection with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission project nos. 67 and 120.
REMARKS - Flow regulated by Florence Lake (station 11229600) 1.9 mi upstream. Most of the water is diverted at Florence Lake to Ward Tunnel (station 11229500). See schematic diagram of upper San Joaquin River Basin available from the California Water Science Center.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 4,630 ft³/s, June 9, 2010, gage height, 11.02 ft; minimum daily, 12 ft³/s, Jan. 15 to Feb. 18, 2014.
