11293580 North Fork Stanislaus River Diversion Tunnel near Big Mead
LOCATION - Lat 38°24'37", long 119°59'41" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Tuolumne County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18040010, Stanislaus National Forest, on left bank 50 ft upstream from diversion dam, at diversion tunnel entrance, and 5.6 mi northeast of town of Big Meadow, which is on State Highway N. 4.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1989 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of tunnel invert at entrance is 6,684 ft above NGVD of 1929, from levels.
COOPERATION - Records were collected by Northern California Power Agency, under general supervision of the U.S. Geological Survey, in connection with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission project no. 2409.
REMARKS - October 1998 to September 2013 published as a monthly line item with station North Fork Stanislaus River below Diversion Dam, near Big Meadows, CA (11293600).
