REMARKS - This site is part of the Cache Creek Settling Basin Study and is concerned only with the collection of records during times of flow. Discharges used in the sediment-discharge computations are determined to be equivalent to those of Cache Creek at Yolo, CA, (station 11452500). Sites are approximately 5 miles apart with little or no inflow and outflow between the two locations. The discharges now appear to be fairly equivalent, given that an average time-of-travel lag of two hours has been determined and applied. Therefore all discharges are now considered to be estimated. Instantaneous discharges provided in the particle-size distribution tables were determined from concurrent measurement data and observations on site. For the 2016 water year water temperature records rated poor. For the 2015 water year water temperature records were not approved due to equipment failure. For the 2014 water year water temperature records rated poor. For the 2016 water year turbidity records are rated poor. For the 2015 water year water turbidity records rated were not approved to equipment failure. For the 2014 water year turbidity records not published, failure to meet USGS publishing criteria.

The practice of assigning qualitative accuracy ratings to water-quality data was discontinued in water year 2017.
