LOCATION - Lat 47°38'27", long 122°47'02" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.22, T.25 N., R.1 W., Kitsap County, WA, Hydrologic Unit 17110018, on right bank 1.1 mi upstream from county road bridge across Big Beef Harbor, and 1.9 mi east of Seabeck.
DRAINAGE AREA - 13.8 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR WA-76-1: 1975(M).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 1969 to October 1981, June 1983 to September 1995 (seasonal records), October 1995 to December 2007, July 2008 to September 2012 (Discontinued).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 40 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. August 1969 to July 6, 1978, at site 90 ft upstream at datum 0.03 ft lower. July 7, 1978 to December 2007, at site 200 ft upstream. July 7, 1978 to Sept. 30, 2008 at datum 2.00 ft higher.
REMARKS - Records fair except for estimated daily discharges and flows below 40 ft³/s and above 280 ft³/s, which are poor. Flow regulated by Lake William Symington, 4.6 mi upstream. No diversions upstream from station. Chemical analyses April to June, august 2007, water temperatures October 2006 to October 2007.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 2,240 ft³/s, Dec. 3, 1997, gage height, 7.44 ft, from flood marks, on basis of slope-area measurement at gage height of 6.97 ft, site and datum then in use; minimum discharge, 2.0 ft³/s, July 21, 26-31, 2009.
AVERAGE DISCHARGE FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - 28 years (water years 1970-81, 1996-2007, 2009-2012), 40.9 ft³/s, 40.29 in/yr, 29,650 acre-ft/yr.
