LOCATION - Lat 25°49'06.7", long 80°28'56.4" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 SW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.30, T.53 S., R.39 E., Miami-Dade County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, 20 ft east of State Road 997 (Krome Avenue), 4 mi north of U.S. Highway 41, and 13.0 mi west of Miami.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 20 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 20 ft, bottom of last opening 20 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 7.40 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of base, 2.58 ft above land-surface datum, Jan. 3, 2001, to present. See REMARKS.
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1970 to April 2015. Discontinued.
GAGE - Electronic data logger.
COOPERATION - Miami-Dade County.
REMARKS - Records of water levels prior to October 1973 are available in files of the U.S. Geological Survey. Station reconstructed January 3, 2001.
