LOCATION - Lat 26°01'41.0", long 81°37'57.7" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 NE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.17, T.51 S., R.27 E., Collier County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090204, 50 ft northwest of the end of Hamilton Road 0.45 mi north of U.S. Highway 41, 4.95 mi southeast of State Road 951, 9.0 mi southeast of Collier County Government Center.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 55 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 30 ft, bottom of last opening 55 ft. Open hole from 30 to 55 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 6.30 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of casing, 9.58 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Apr. 24, 1986 to Oct. 24, 2017; Square mark on shelter base, 9.08 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Dec. 5, 2017 to present. See REMARKS.
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 1986 to December 1996 (monthly), December 1996 to September 2018 (continuous), October to current year.
GAGE - Monthly measurement with chalked tape.
REMARKS - Well is also used for salinity monitoring. Most of the open-hole portion of this well has collapsed or become obstructed. Chloride samples are being collected from a depth of 37 ft. Data from this well are considered to be unaffected by the collapse/obstruction.  Well was damaged October 24, 2017 by earth moving equipment.  Well was repaired and resurveyed December 5, 2017.  See DATUM.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest daily maximum water level, 6.82 ft NGVD, Sept. 10, 2017; lowest, 0.88 ft below NGVD, May 06, 1999.
