LOCATION - Lat 27°17'58.9", long 81°49'28.4" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.33, T.36 S., R.25 E., DeSoto County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100101, 200 ft east of U. S. Highway 17, and 3.8 mi south of Gardner.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-US-2007: Land-surface datum.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 430 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 255 ft, bottom of last opening 429 ft. Drilled, observation well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 75.37 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of recorder shelter floor, 3.09 ft above land-surface datum, Aug. 1, 1999 to present. Land surface datum is 74.33 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Water level elevations computed using NGVD 29 in order to maintain consistency with historical records.
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2000 to September 2010 (discontinued).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder--60-minute interval.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with Southwest Florida Water Management District.
REMARKS - Water level affected by pumping of nearby well.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest daily maximum water level, 50.21 ft NGVD, Sept. 26, 2004; lowest, 17.27 ft NGVD, Jan. 12, 2010.
