LOCATION - Lat 27°23'17.7", long 80°18'34.0" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.35, T.35 S., R.40 E., St. Lucie County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, 15 ft east of STL 298, approximately 200 ft east of entrance booth to Savannas Recreation Area on Gun Club Road, 0.5 mi north of Midway Road (County Road 712), 1.3 mi east of U.S. Highway 1.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 30 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 26 ft, bottom of last opening 30 ft. Gravel-packed casing and screen 12 to 30 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 17.16 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of casing, 20.74 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, May 20, 2014 to Feb. 4, 2020; Top of base, 20.74 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Feb. 5, 2020 to present. Land-surface datum is 15.0 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
PERIOD OF RECORD - February 1975 to June 1975 (intermittent), June 1975 to February 1979 (daily), May 1988 to October 1989 (semiannual), September 1990 to September 1993 (monthly), October 1993 to current year.
GAGE - Electronic data logger.
COOPERATION - South Florida Water Management District.
REMARKS - Station number published incorrectly as 272315080182701 in WDR FL-97-2B 1997. Well depth cannot be sounded below 12 ft because of gravel pack.
