REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Land-surface datum was updated to 1,218.45 ft NAVD88 on May 22, 2023, as determined by a GNSS survey by Missouri DNR. Land-surface datum was previously published as 1,215 ft NGVD29 from a topographic map. Discrete water-level measurements prior to May 22, 2023, are referenced to the original datum.

GROUNDWATER RECORDS

DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,218.45 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: DNR DCP platform, 2.5 ft above land-surface datum, May. 1, 2007 to present.  

PERIOD OF RECORD - May 10, 2007 to present.

GAGE - May 10, 2007 to present; DCP with telemetry capability, and float and encoder installed as the water level recording device.

COOPERATION - Data furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR). Data processed by MDNR and USGS.

REMARKS - Data from 05/09/2007 to 09/30/2008 has been processed by the USGS with limited field water level measurements (11 measurements) during the period to verify the recorded water levels. This record is considered good. The accuracy of the gage is +/- 0.1 ft. Data from 10/01/2008 to 12/07/2009 is good based on 4 water level measurements taken during the period and is accurate to +/- 0.1 ft. Data from 12/07/2009 to 04/08/2010 is good based on 2 water level measurements taken during the period and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. Data from 04/08/2010 to 10/13/2011 is good based on 6 water level measurements taken during the period and is accurate to +/- 0.1 ft. Data from 10/13/2011 to 07/31/2012 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft.
