USGS Water-Year Summary 2023
371800092094801 Fairview
Ozark Plateaus aquifer system
Canadian Series
LOCATION - Lat 37°18'00.2", long 92°09'48.6" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 SE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.17, T.30 N., R.11 W., Texas County, MO, Hydrologic Unit 10290201,
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Land-surface datum was updated to 1,464.98 ft NAVD88 on May 22, 2023, as determined by a GNSS survey by Missouri DNR. Land-surface datum was previously published as 1,465 ft NGVD29 from topographic map. Discrete water-level measurements prior to May 22, 2023, are referenced to the original datum.

GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,464.98 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: unknown, 2.1 ft above land-surface datum, Feb. 1, 1956 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 1, 1956 to present.
GAGE - Stevens model A-35 chart recorder installed February 27, 1956 and used until February 29, 2000 when it was replaced by DCP with telemetry capability. During this period the gage was driven by float and float wheel or encoder. On December 21, 2006, the float and encoder were replaced by a vented, submersible pressure transducer. On 8/13/2019, the Sea Metrics PT12 pressure transducer (sn: 21738042) was replaced with a PVC float.
COOPERATION - Data furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR); Record from March 1, 1956 to December 9, 1999 furnished from MDNR. Record from March 01, 2000 to present, processed by USGS and MDNR.
REMARKS - Furnished record from March 1, 1956 to December 9, 1999 rated fair because only 1 water level measurement was available to verify daily values. The water level data collected by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) has been archived and are not available for verification. Data from February 29, 2000 to September 30, 2008 is fair except for the periods June 13, 2002 through October 14, 2002; June 12, 2003 through July 5, 2003; and May 14, 2007 through August 27, 2008 which is poor because of probable erroneous water level measurements used to reset gage at the beginning of these periods. Twenty six water level measurements were made from March 14, 2002 through September 30, 2008 to verify recorded water levels. Record from October 1, 2008 to August 25, 2009 is good based on 5 water level measurements made during the period and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. Data from August 25, 2009 to August 04, 2010 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 08/04/2010 to 11/18/2010 is good based on 2 water level measurements made during the period and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 11/18/2010 to 07/16/2012 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 07/17/2012 to 09/18/2013 is good based on 5 water level measurements made during the period and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 09/19/2013 to 07/26/2016 is good based on 6 water level measurements made during the period and is accurate to +/- 0.15 ft. The record from 07/27/2016 to 02/21/2017 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period and is accurate to +/- 0.15 ft. The record from 02/22/2017 to 08/29/2017 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 08/30/2017 to 02/13/2018 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.15 ft. The record from 02/14/2018 to 07/02/2018 is fair based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.15 ft. The fair rating is due to multiple gaps in the data when the float was stuck. The record from 07/03/2018 to 09/09/2018 is good based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 09/10/2018 to 04/18/2019 is good based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.25 ft. The record from 04/18/2019 to 09/22/2019 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.25 ft.
