LOCATION - Lat 43°13'16.7", long 95°13'49.2" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 SE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.17, T.97 N., R.37 W., Clay County, IA, Hydrologic Unit 10230003, 0.4 mi south from intersection of 180th Avenue and 290th Street, and 5.0 mi northwest from Spencer.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 17 ft. Upper casing diameter 2 in; top of first opening 15.8 ft, bottom of last opening 17 ft. Drilled observation well, cased to 15.8 ft. All depths below land-surface datum.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,352.16 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: three notches on well casing, 3.16 ft above land-surface datum, Aug. 22, 2013, to present. Land-surface datum from lidar digital elevation model.
