LOCATION - Lat 38°33'42", long 105°01'17" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.20, T.17 S., R.68 W., Fremont County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 11020002, on downstream side of bridge on Fremont County Road 132, 1 mi downstream from Banta Gulch, 1.3 mi northeast of Upper Beaver Cemetery, and 9.2 mi north of Penrose.
DRAINAGE AREA - 122 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 1991 to November 2005 (seasonal records only), March 2010 to current year (seasonal records only).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry. Elevation of gage is 6,020 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to Mar. 1, 2010, at site on left bank 55 ft upstream at same datum.
REMARKS - Water year 2014; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2015; records good except for flows above 500 ft³/s, which are fair, and estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
