Add and remove locations from My Favorites

Add locations

Finding water monitoring locations of interest to you is simple, and there are several options.

State pages provide a summary of the latest continuous data being collected in your state. Quickly filter the map and list to show a data type of interest to you, or customize the filters to further refine the map and list to your needs.

USGS has collected water data throughout US states and territories for more than 135 years. Find historical and currently operational monitoring locations collecting continuous and discrete sample data that interests you. Filter using locations of interest, type of water data, and recency of data that meet your needs.

Add locations to My Favorites by location number

Add one or more location identifiers

Use one or a comma separated list of monitoring location identifiers -- for example: 09380000, 05427948

Remove locations

Once you have added monitoring locations to My Favorites, you will see options here.

Reminder

After adding or removing locations from My Favorites, you can use your browser to make a bookmark. Then you will be able to return to your same page later.

Customize data types shown

Step 1 - Select which data collections to show

Use the options found in Add/Remove locations to add locations to My Favorites. Then you will see options here.

Step 2 - Select data types to show

Use the options found in Add/Remove locations to add locations to My Favorites. Then, the data types available at those locations will show here.

Step 3 - View your favorites list below

When done, hide this menu by clicking Hide change data types shown and remember to bookmark this page so you can revisit your custom My Favorites page at any time.

Create graphs from list
