LOCATION.--Lat 43° 21'30", long 115° 26'48" (NAD83), in NE1/4 SW1/4 SE1/4 sec.1,
T.1 S., R.8 E., Elmore County, Anderson Ranch Dam quad., Hydrologic Unit
17050113, Boise National Forest, at inlet structure of outlet works of
Anderson Ranch Dam on South Fork Boise River, 1.5 mi downstream from
Camas Creek, 20.5 mi northeast of Mountain Home, and at mile 43.5.
DRAINAGE AREA.--975 mi2, revised.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--December 1945 to September 1996 (discontinued).
REVISED RECORDS.--WDR Idaho 1969: 1968(m).
GAGE.--Datum of gage is sea level (levels by U.S. Bureau of Reclamation).
Prior to June 8, 1962, nonrecording gage or supplementary gage in
powerhouse read once daily.
REMARKS.--Reservoir is formed by earthfill dam. Storage began Dec. 15, 1945.
Usable contents, 464,200 acre-ft between elevations 3,992 ft and 4,196 ft,
top of spillway gates. Elevation of spillway crest, 4,174 ft, and of
top of dam, 4,206 ft. Dead storage below 3,992 ft is 28,980 acre-ft.
Water is used for irrigation in Boise Valley and for power production.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum contents, 465,600 acre-ft June 11, 1983,
elevation, 4,197.98 ft; no useable contents prior to Jan. 27, 1946;
Minimum observed contents since full capacity was attained June 21, 1951,
10,500 acre-ft Mar. 10, 1993, elevation, 4,007 ft, but may have been lower
during period of no gage-height record, November 1992 through March 1993.
