LOCATION.--Lat 39°36'19", long
75°37'50", referenced to North American Datum of 1927, New
Castle County, DE, Hydrologic Unit 02040205, on right bank at the
downstream side of wing wall at highway bridge on DE-9 / River Road,
2.8 miles northwest of Delaware City, 5.3 miles southwest of New
Castle, 4,500 feet upstream from tide gates at mouth to Delaware
Bay. PERIOD OF RECORD.--December 1993 to September 1994. June 2007 to
August 2016. September 2020 to current year. GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 0.00 ft above
North American Vertical Datum of 1988. REMARKS.--U.S. Geological Survey water-data telemeter at
station. COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is
provided by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region III and
the U.S. Geological Survey.
