LOCATION.--Lat 38°33'23.0", long 75°12'11.4", Sussex County, DE, Hydrologic Unit 02040303, 
   on left bank at upstream side of bridge on State Highway 26, 2.4 mi east of Dagsboro and 3.8 mi 
   upstream from the confluence with Indian River at Indian River Bay.
DRAINAGE AREA.--Not determined.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--Annual maximum, water years 1985-97. May 2015 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 0.00 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. 
   August 1984 to September 1997, at datum 0.79 ft higher (0.00 ft above NGVD29). 
REMARKS.--This is a tidal station. Discharge is not determined at this location. U.S. Geological 
   Survey satellite data-collection platform at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum elevation, 5.61 ft, Jan. 23, 2016; minimum elevation,
   -2.72 ft, March 3, 2017.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Delaware Department of
   Transportation through the Delaware Geological Survey.
This station managed by the MD-DE-DC Water Science Center Dover office.
