LOCATION.--Lat 39°37'48.3", long 77°27'19.0", Frederick County, MD, Hydrologic Unit 02070009,
   on left bank 600 ft downstream from dam on Hunting Creek Lake, 1.6 mi upstream from Bear Branch,
   2.4 mi west of Thurmont, and 10.7 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA.--7.08 mi2. 
PERIOD OF RECORD.--December 1981 to May 1986. Prior to Oct 20, 2021, published as HUNGTING CREEK
   NEAR THURMONT, MD.
PERIOD OF RECORD (WATER-QUALITY).--May 2014 to current year.
INSTRUMENTATION.--Water-temperature sensor May 2014 to curent year. 
REMARKS.--U.S. Geological Survey satellite data-collection platform at station.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Maryland Department of Natural
   Resources, and the U.S. Geological Survey.
This station managed by the MD-DE-DC Water Science Center Frostburg office.
