STATION.--01660795 POTOMAC RIVER NEAR NEWBURG, MD
LOCATION.--Lat 38°21'54.2", long 76°58'55.5", Charles County, Hydrologic Unit 02070011,
   0.1 mi upstream of U.S. Route 301 bridge, 400 ft from left bank at south end of marina basin, 
   1.7 mi southwest of Newburg, at river mile 51.
DRAINAGE AREA.--Not determined.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--July 2006 to January 2008, July 2008 to September 2009.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 0.0 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
REMARKS.--This is a tidal station.  Discharge is not determined at this location. 
   U.S. Geological Survey satellite data-collection platform at station.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by Noblis, Inc. and 
   the U.S. Geological Survey.
This station managed by the MD-DE-DC Water Science Center Baltimore office.
