SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - 15-Minute Lake level, below land surface (Water level, below LSD (ft.)) and lake elevation (water level, ft. NAVD88) were recorded from 30 April 2013 at 13:15 CDT to 2 Oct. 2014 at 10:00 CDT. Hourly Lake level, below land surface (Water level, below LSD (ft.)) and lake elevation (water level, ft. NAVD88) were recorded from 02 Oct. 2014 at 20:00 CDT to the present, except during the following periods:

02 Oct. 2015 during 11:00-19:00 CDT: due to replacing the transducer and rebuilding well casing
12 Jul. 2016 during 10:00-19:00 CDT: data not recorded for unknown reason.
GAGE - Lake level is measured with an OTT Orpheus Mini submersible pressure transducer, which is hanging in a stilling well. All data water level, water temperature, and battery voltage data are currently recorded hourly by the same OTT Orpheus Mini submersible pressure transducer. The gage is powered by 3-AA alkaline batteries and is not telemetered. Data are downloaded manually.
COOPERATION - The North Lake Gage is operated by the U.S. Geological Survey in cooperation with the Prairie Island Indian Community. This site is part of a network of monitoring wells and lake gages; used to collect water quality and water quantity data for the Prairie Island Indian Community.
