Important information about this monitoring location
Nov. 23, 1928, to Dec. 26, 1972, recording gage at site 100 ft downstream at same datum. Dec. 27, 1972, to May 10, 1974, non-recording gage 1.0 mi downstream at datum 2.83 lower. Flow regulated by Blue Marsh Lake (station 01470870) since April 1979, by Still Creek Reservoir (station 01469200) since February 1933, and by Lake Ontelaunee. The 15-minute precipitation data for this station are temporary and will only be displayed for 120 days. Time series of 1-hour or cumulative daily values will NOT be available for retrieval following the 120-day display period. Although the instrumentation is calibrated at least once a year, the temporary classification means that documented routine inspections and other quality assurance measures are not performed that would make the data acceptable for archival, retrieval, or future use in general scientific or interpretive studies.
