Location context and information
Note: Continuous phycocyanin fluorescence and chlorophyll fluorescence are proxies for algal pigment concentrations. These data are measured relative to a reference level which allows for negative values. Laboratory analysis of discrete samples is needed to eliminate negative values and to calculate algal pigment concentrations. Raw fluorescence data are displayed on this webpage to illustrate relative fluctuations as measured by the sensor.
