Urgent for you to know:
- Due to an operational issue with data transmission from the GOES-East satellite, USGS is experiencing some gaps in data delivery, primarily in the eastern portion of the U.S. and territories. GOES-East satellite transmissions have been partially restored and real-time data are flowing for the majority of sites. USGS is monitoring this issue in collaboration with NOAA NESDIS until GOES-East satellite transmissions have been fully restored.
