LOCATION - Lat 47°39'54.57", long 109°39'07.25" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 SW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.22, T.22 N., R.16 E., Fergus County, MT, Hydrologic Unit 10040103, on right bank at downstream private road bridge, 5.3 mi south of Judith Landing, 15 mi northwest of Winifred, and at river mile 7.7.
DRAINAGE AREA - 2,747 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - The maximum gage height and discharge for water year 2017 were revised on September 5, 2021, based upon reanalysis of data. 
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2000 to current year (seasonal records beginning water year 2007).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 2,490 ft, referenced to the North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
REMARKS - Numerous diversions for irrigation occur upstream from station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 15,900 ft³/s Mar. 24, 2019, gage height, 13.02 ft, present site and datum.
