- Water-Year Summary reports summarize a year of hydrologic data in a printer-friendly format.
- For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
- For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
- For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
- Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

LOCATION - Lat 36°07'40", long 78°47'55" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Granville County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03020201, on left bank, 1.5 mi downstream of bridge on Secondary Road 1120, 2.3 mi west of Butner, and 2.5 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 43 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Discharge for the period August 20, 2018 to November 13, 2018 was revised in April 2019 based on changes to the stage-discharge rating.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1982 to September 1995, February 2006 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 254.56 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Satellite telemetry at streamgage.
REMARKS - Some diurnal fluctuation at low flow. Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor. Additional details on the accuracy of the records can be obtained by contacting the USGS South Atlantic Water Science Center at gs-w-nc_nwisweb_data_inquiries@usgs.gov.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge 17,000 ft³/s, September 17, 2018, from rating curve extended on the basis of an indirect measurement; Maximum gage height 9.94 ft, September 17, 2018; Minimum daily mean discharge, 0.68 ft³/s, December 12, 2017.
