LOCATION - Lat 39°20'32", long 74°30'08" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Margate City, Atlantic County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02040302, near the intersection of Burk Ave. and Fredericksburg Ave.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 755 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 740 ft, bottom of last opening 750 ft. Drilled artesian well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 5 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of shelf, 2.3 ft above land-surface datum, Apr. 8, 1986 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1985 to 2015.
GAGE - Submersible logger pressure transducer--60 minute recording interval. Periodic measurements, January 1988 to December 2003. Water-level recorder, October 1985 to January 1988.
REMARKS - Water level is affected by tidal fluctuation and nearby pumping. The well was pumped on Feb 1, 2012. After pumping, the water-level did not return to its previous level. Therefore, the screen may have been partially clogged prior to the pumping.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 73.20 ft below land surface datum, May 17, 1986; lowest, 133.09 ft below land surface datum, Sep 6, 2010.
