This gage is monitored in cooperation with the St. Johns River Water Management District. |
Data are tidally affected -- Astronomical tides cause significant cycles of approximately 24.84 hours at this site. Because a different portion of the 24.84-hour tidal cycle is averaged in successive daily (24-hour) computations, a systematic secondary oscillation, unrelated to basin hydrology and having a period of about two weeks may be apparent in daily data. |
REMARKS.--Computed discharge at this station may differ from individual measurements because of changes in tidal influence, wind, or other factors.GAGE.--Water-stage recorder, acoustic velocity meter, and data-collection platform. Datum of gage is 10.00 ft below NGVD of 1929 and 10.93 ft below NAVD of 1988. Prior to July 21, 1987, at site 200 ft downstream at present datum.
