GAGE.--Water-stage recorder, acoustic velocity meter, and data-collection platform. Datum of gage is at NAVD of 1988 (Southwest Florida Water Management District bench mark) and 0.85 ft above NGVD of 1929. Prior to Nov. 21, 1983, nonrecording gage at site 50 ft downstream at NGVD of 1929. Nov. 21, 1983 to Nov. 17, 1987 water-stage recorder at present site and datum of NGVD 1929.

REMARKS.--Flow regulated by gated structure downstream of gage. Canal is a controlled diversion from the Withlacoochee River to Tsala Apopka Lake; reverse flow may occur.
