LOCATION.--Lat 40`42'54", long 79`34'52", Armstrong County, Hydrologic Unit 05010006 on right bank river wall 280 ft downstream from low-head dam at Lock #6, 7.6 mi downstream from Allegheny Lock #7, and 1.25 mi east of Ford City, PA.
DRAINAGE AREA.--9,323 square miles.

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Station maintained for stage readings only. Datum of gage is 747.4 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Prior to December 5, 2023, the datum of gage was reported as 748.0 ft or erroneously reported as 760.0 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Telemetry at site.
