LOCATION.--Lat 42° 55'30", long 111° 59'18(Rev.)(NAD83), in SE1/4 sec.3, T.6 S., R.38 E., Caribou County, Hydrologic Unit 17040208, Chesterfield Reservoir quad., just upstream from backwater of Portneuf-Marsh Valley (Chesterfield) Reservoir, just downstream from Jeff Cabin Creek, and about 7 mi west of Chesterfield.

DRAINAGE AREA.--68 mi2, approximately.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--April 1912 to September 1914 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Staff gage. Elevation of gage is 5,395 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.

REMARKS.--Several small ranch diversions above station.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge observed, 131 ft3/s Mar. 31, 1913, gage height, 5.2 ft; minimum observed, 8.8 ft3/s Oct. 1, 1913, gage height, 2.5 ft.
