Southwest Florida Water Management District

LOCATION.--Lat 29°02'30", long 82°41'25", in SE1/4SW1/4SE1/4 sec.33, T.16 S., R.16 E., Levy County, Hydrologic Unit 03110101, 40 ft southwest of intersection of State Highway 40A and Schoolcraft Road at Crackertown. Owner: Southwest Florida Water Management District.

AQUIFER.--Floridan aquifer system of the Tertiary System, Geologic Unit 120 FLRD.

WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Drilled, observation, unused, artesian well, diameter 6 in, depth 280 ft, cased to 270 ft.

INSTRUMENTATION.--Water-stage recorder and data-collection platform.

DATUM.--Land-surface datum is 8.64 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of flange, 3.50 ft above land-surface datum.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--August 1979 to current year.
