LOCATION.--Lat 40°54'40", long 73°48'48" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Westchester County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02030102, on right bank in Pelham, just upstream from Penn Central Transportation Co. bridge, 100 ft downstream from Pelham Lake, and 1.5 mi west of New Rochelle.
DRAINAGE AREA.--6.04 mi².
PERIOD OF RECORD.--November 1943 to September 1989, June 2009 to April 2013 (discontinued).
REVISIONS HISTORY.--WDR-US-2009: Drainage area.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and concrete control. Datum of gage is 12.92 ft above NGVD of 1929 (levels by Westchester County).
REMARKS.--Flow controlled by Pelham Lake and three reservoirs upstream from station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 526 ft³/s, Aug. 28, 1971, gage height, 5.18 ft; maximum gage height, 6.74 ft, Aug. 28, 2011; minimum discharge, 0.01 ft³/s, July 27, 1957; minimum gage height, 1.86 ft, Aug. 2, 5, 1955.
