bank at Beaver Lake, 30 ft upstream from Feeks Lane (Cleft
Road) Bridge in Mill Neck, and 1.5 mi southwest of
Bayville.
DRAINAGE AREA.--8.58 mi².
PERIOD OF RECORD.--January 1937 to March 2000, May 2005
to September 2010, October 2013 to current year.
REVISIONS HISTORY.--WDR NY-09-2: Drainage
area. Discharge for the period Mar. 2 to 4, 2018, was
revised on July 19, 2021, based on estimates of tidal
backwater.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and steel sheet-piling
control. Datum of gage is 6.49 ft above NGVD of 1929 and 5.41
ft above NAVD of 1988 (VERTCON).
REMARKS.--Slight regulation by ponds above
station.
Water Years 2014-23: Records good except those for estimated
daily discharges, which are poor.
