NOTICE (01/12/2021) -- Stage data collection at this station will be shut down on 01/31/2021 due to lack of funding. Historic stage data will remain accessible. Precipitation data collection will continue. Potential funding partners or those with general questions concerning continuance of operations may contact Chuck Walker (cwwalker@usgs.gov;443-498-5523).

LOCATION.--Lat 39°29'07.9", long 76°20'40.7", Harford County, MD, Hydrologic Unit 02060003, 
   on pier at Harford Glen Environmental Education Center, 0.7 mi upstream of Atkisson Reservoir
   Dam, and 3.3 mi south of Bel Air.
DRAINAGE AREA.--Not determined.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 2015 to current year.
PERIOD OF RECORD (CLIM).--October 2010 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and tipping bucket rain gage. Datum of gage is 0.00 ft above North
   American Vertical Datum of 1988.
REMARKS.--U.S. Geological Survey water-data telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum elevation, 125.16 ft, Feb. 24, 2016, minimum elevation,
   119.11 ft, Sept. 13-18, 2016. Maximum daily precipitation, 5.70 in, Oct. 29, 2012.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the U.S. Army,
   the Harford County Department of Public Works, and the U.S. Geological Survey. 
This station managed by the MD-DE-DC Water Science Center Baltimore office.
