Manhanset Road, 143 ft north of Cobbets Lane, Shelter
Island.
WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Depth 74 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 62 ft, bottom of last opening 72 ft.
DATUM.--Land-surface datum is 28.4 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of casing, 1.45 ft below land-surface datum, 26.95 ft above land-surface datum, Jul. 16, 1974 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--July 1974 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-level recorder installed July 2022; 15-minute recording interval. Periodic manual measurements made by USGS personnel.
REMARKS.--Cellular water-level telemeter at station.
