LOCATION--Lat 42°34’17", long 71°06’05", Middlesex County, Hydrologic Unit 01090001, on left bank at downstream side of Park Street bridge, 400 ft upstream from mouth at Ipswich River, and 1.2 mi west of North Reading..
DRAINAGE AREA--13.3 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD--September 2007 to current year. Miscellaneous discharge measurements made in water years 1970, 1971, 1978, and 1998.
GAGE--Water-stage recorder with satellite telemeter. Datum of gage is 65 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS--Flow affected by upstream ground-water withdrawals for municipal supply.
