LOCATION--Lat 41°48'33", long 71°16'42", Bristol County, Hydrologic Unit 01090004, on left bank, at left end of Reed Street bridge, about 150 ft downstream from Shad Factory Pond, at South Rehoboth, MA.
DRAINAGE AREA--30.9 mi².
PERIOD OF RECORD--Recorded discharge: February 2006 to current year; miscellaneous discharge measurements made in water years 1986, 1987, 2003.
GAGE--Water-stage recorder with satellite telemeter. Datum of gage is approximately 10 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS--Flow diverted at times from Shad Factory Pond for water supply of Warren. Stage record affected by occasional backwater from tidal rises; backwater effects are excluded prior to computation of daily mean discharge.
