LOCATION.--Lat 42°08'49.6", long 74°54'18.8" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Delaware County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02040102, on right bank, 0.3 mi upstream of intersection of Coles Clove and Terry Clove Roads, and 1.9 mi upstream of Pepacton Reservoir, near De Lancey.
DRAINAGE AREA.--7.91 mi².
PERIOD OF RECORD.--August 2008 to June 2009, November 2019 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 1,419.53 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS.--Water Years 2020-23: Records good except for periods of estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 843 ft³/s, Dec. 25, 2020, gage height, 4.03 ft; maximum gage height, 4.57 ft, June 20, 2009; minimum discharge, 0.33 ft³/s, June 23, 2023, gage height, 0.51 ft; minimum gage height, 0.38 ft, July 26, 27, 2020.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 222 ft³/s, Aug. 9, 2009, gage height, 4.66 ft.
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD1.--WATER TEMPERATURE: December 2019 to current year.
INSTRUMENTATION1.--Water-temperature recorder provides 15-minute-interval readings.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD1.--WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum, 26.1 °C, July 9, 2020; minimum, -0.1 °C on several days during winter period in 2020 water year.
