Station gage imageSTATION.--01559790 RAYSTOWN BRANCH JUNIATA RIVER AT WOLFSBURG, PA
LOCATION.--Lat 40`02'45", long 78`31'45", Bedford County, Hydrologic Unit 02050303, 150 ft upstream from single-span steel-girder bridge on U.S. Highway 30 at Wolfsburg, and 4.7 mi upstream from Dunning Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA.--132 square miles
PERIOD OF RECORD.--Water years 1989-90, 1996 to 2018, continuous-record annual-peak. October 2018 to current year, stage-only.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,072.89 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 (from Pennsylvania Railroad benchmark). Satellite and landline telemetry at station.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
REMARKS.--Daily discharge not available. Occasional fluctuations can be seen as the result of releases from Shawnee Lake or activity from Bedford Municipal Pumping Station.
