LOCATION.--Lat 39°38´58.3", long 78°20´38.9", Washington County, MD, Hydrologic Unit 02070003,
   on left bank at downstream side of bridge on Pearre Road, 1.2 mi upstream from mouth, and 4.0 mi
   south of Bellegrove.
DRAINAGE AREA.--102 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--July 1967 to September 1977, April 1999 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage, and concrete control. Datum of gage is 439.74 ft above 
   North American Vertical Datum of 1988. 
REMARKS.--U.S. Geological Survey satellite data-collection platform at station. Water-quality records 
   for some prior periods have been collected at this location.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 14,200 ft3/s, June 22, 1972, gage height, 12.44 ft;
   minimum discharge, 0.0 ft3/s, no flow on many days during 1968, 1999, 2005, 2006, and 2010.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the U.S. Environmental Protection
   Agency, and the U.S. Geological Survey.
