This station is operated in cooperation with the North Carolina
Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Division of Water
Resources.
Water Quality Data are collected by Elizabeth City State University
under general supervision of the U.S. Geological Survey.
Positive values of streamflow and velocity represent a general east
southeasterly direction and negative values are in a general west
northwesterly direction.
This station managed by the South Atlantic WSC Raleigh Field Office.
