USGS 05393500 SPIRIT RIVER AT SPIRIT FALLS, WI

LOCATION.--Lat 45°26'57", long 89°58'45", in NW 1/4 sec.10, T.34 N., R.4 E., Lincoln County, Hydrologic Unit 07070001, on right bank 40 ft downstream of bridge 0.2 mi south of Spirit Falls, 0.6 mi upstream from Squaw Creek, and 2.0 mi downstream from Richie Creek.

DRAINAGE AREA.--81.6 square miles.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--April 1942 to present.

REVISED RECORDS.--WSP 1308: 1943(M), 1948-50(M). WDR WI-77-1: Drainage area.

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,461.64 ft at NAVD88. Prior to Oct. 4, 1982, nonrecording gage 40 ft upstream at same datum.

REMARKS.--Gage-height telemeter at station.
